I put time into understanding the market and the people doing the work. When the problem is unclear, finding the useful question is part of my job.

For a complicated question, I prefer writing. It gives us something specific to examine, disagree with, and improve. If we need a meeting, we should know what we want to decide.
Be direct. Stay curious.
Tell me what you disagree with and why. I welcome a better argument, and I will explain mine. We should be able to challenge an idea without making it personal.

I work best with room to choose the approach and responsibility for what I deliver. I value flexibility in where and when I work; the quality of the work and the deadlines we agree on still matter.
